Prior to using Candex, I had already been on a cleansing, higher protein diet with little if any dairy, grains or (and especially) limited or no simple sugars. If I reintroduce these foods while using Candex, I obviously find myself feeling more exhausted and achy all over due to providing a feeding frenzy to the fungus. My recommendation, keep your diet at a cleansing level in order to assist the process.

my legs swelled and went heavy. I wasn't sleeping and not urinating freqently enough. my mother is 86 and has taken them for a long time with no side effects. my husband has just been prescribed them although he is not over weight and walks every day to work and around his work place his colestrol is 7.5. we have been healthy eating for a few years now so this has come as a bit of shock to him. Since menopause at age 58, I weighed 135 lb. I quit smoking 2-1/2 years ago and gained 15 lb. Lost that 15 lb. but then was diagnosed with emphysema 6 months after I quit smoking. I was started on Spiriva. Within 6 months I weighed 196 lb. and my A1c started to rise despite no change in diet or exercise. I went on a strict 1200 calorie diet, but couldn't lose. Made me very sleepy after about an hour, but then I had SEVERE restless legs, but it wasn't just my legs. It was my whole body. Never taking this again.

I took this medication in conjunction with the Digoxin and I feel it has made a difference in the Afib. I really like both of the medications and I would recommend them both to others who are having the same problem as me.
