prilosec otc worked fairly well for me. i'm not having stomach pains & heartburn as i was before. the only things i really noticed are i take the pill in the morning everyday. by the time it is the next morning, i feel the pain again until i take the pill. i'm hoping after the 14 day treatment that this does not occur because i will not be able to take the pills anymore. it is my 7th day on the pill & i've expierienced a piercing, stabbing headache in the back of my head & behind... I suffer from fibromalgia, and depression has got worse due to relationship problems,children,bereavement. My 14 year old daughter has taken 2 of the 3 recommended dosages of the Gardasil shots. Her symptoms began just days after her first shot, but I attributed it to an extremely painful mentrual cycle. Tylenol is a staple medication in my family whenever there’s a cold or some little ailment. My dad’s a family practicioner and we all happen to use Tylenol. It does wonders and is reliable. I’ve never had any problems as a result of Tylenol use but there could of course be side effects--never experienced any myself.

Advil PM immediately helped me fall asleep. I took it about five different times and it was just as effective each time. I didn't experience any side effects either.

Advil is a great OTC medicine for minor pains like headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It has been effective for me while not producing any negative side effects. However, it may not work as well on more stronger and long-term pains.
