I was prescripted this when I got my wisdom teeth removed. It helped A LOT with the pain but while I was taking it I was always tired and couldn't think clearly. Once I went back to school I could only take it at night because I couldn't focus in my classes.

I feel that Trazadone has helped me being more positive in day to day living. I don't think about committing suicide and i don't feel like i am a waste of space. I have had Trazadone in the past and requested these again from my doctor,as i feel there are not as many side effects as many of the other anti depressants. I would recommend these tablets to anyone who feels like they would be better off not living.

Shortly after starting a short course of this medication I starting having irregular (skipped) heartbeats upon light exertion. It took me two weeks to put two and two together and I have now stopped the medication. I have had irregular heartbeats in the past but they had not bothered me for several years. Also, I have experienced difficulty sleeping including trouble getting to sleep and/or mid night wakefulness. Recently I have experienced diarrhea. This drug does not seem to be worth us... I thought the strength of my memory was lowering due to my age (33) .. but perhaps it is related to the generic Xanax. But on a positive, this solution has had the least amount of side-affects over any other anti-anxiety option for me personally. Anti-depressants put a lot of weight on me and took away my libido. No sign of that now and I've been on 1mg XR for well over a year now.
