Lipitor, and perhaps all fat-soluble statins, will go down as the next falidamide. This drug readily crosses the blood brain barrier and wreaks havoc on cognition/memory/mood. As an added bonus, it is now becoming apparent that Lipitor is especially effective at causing systemic mitochondria DNA mutations (See, e.g., UCSD Study - Dr. Golomb). Been suffering from major depression, ptsd, dissociation and anxiety for many years. I love this medication. It is one of the only cough medicines that really work for me. It last almost the whole time it is supposed to unlike other cough medicines, because it's thick enough to coat my throat. I also love the orange flavor that it comes in. The grape flavor I don't care for as much.

Herplex was the best. I get cold sores when under stress or with a fever. If I felt the tingle and took a couple for a day or two they would dry up immediately. Why oh why did they take it off the market.
