Although there are a lot of unwanted side effects,these are nothing in comparison to the crippling migraines I used to suffer daily. As a young woman with a toddler I can't be in bed 5 days out of 7 in a week with migraine and this wonder drug is the only one which works for me.

I've taken other statin drugs for many years and slowly drifted into the severe side affects w/o knowing it. I lived through the side affects, thinking it was an age thing. I suffer from fibromalgia, and depression has got worse due to relationship problems,children,bereavement. I found that metronidazole made my skin more sensitive to the sun. My dermatologist reccomended that I only apply at night before I go to sleep but that didn't help. Soon after I stopped using metronidazole and started putting on sunscreen daily, my face cleared up.

Sublingual is a terrible idea. It tasted terrible and made my tongue numb. 15 minutes after taking it, I was completely drugged out and had to be taken to bed immediately. Slept 12 hours straight in a deep sleep, but apparently snored loudly and gasped for air all night long. Needless to say that was my first and last experience taking this medication as an alternative to Geodon.
