I was on a tricyclin and had about every side effect you could have on the pill. I switched to Levora and all my side effects went away. I personally do exteremly well on this pill and will not be changing anytime soon. I definitely think its worth trying. If it works well for you like it has for me, wonderful, if not, you probably want to continue the search....

Alprazolam is the finest and most effective BZD for anxiety and panic on the market and also the ONLY benzodiazepine (of the triazolo- class) recommended for people with a history of depression. The problem in the USA is that there are hundreds of brands/generics, but only TWO which would be deemed acceptable quality by European patients - original branded XANAX and the GREENSTONE generics. I couldn't have asked for a better med. I had tried a couple of other meds whose side effects were too bothersome and by far Lamicatal has been the best. I don't feel sedated, I've experienced almost no side effects, and I feel in control and level headed. I was very sleepy when I first started taking it but that didn't last long.
