Doxycycyline Hyclate cleared my skin up great. However, not sure if caused by this drug or not, I got very drowsie while on it and had several incidences of nearly falling asleep while driving, very unusual for me. Then one day I did fall asleep at the wheel while going around a corner, hit the the curb. Luckily no one, including me, hurt but ripped my trye to shreds, wrecked the tyre rim and just missed a lampost!!!! Beware.

It helped relieve my acne. The only reason for my liver damage and fever is because I got Mono. Dry lips and hands while on Accutane were uncomfortable, but worth getting rid of my acne.

Been on it 4 days. Black stools, severe heart palpitations and dizziness. Can't sleep. Have read up on side effects on internet. All of these are possible and then some. No muscle/tendon problems, though. Will contact physician on Monday to discontinue this med.

I have minimal side effects, if any. I do wish that it was an oral medication. It is supposed to last 24 hours, but it lasts more like 20 hours.

My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration. While they helped with focus, the tradeoffs were difficult. He currently is on Vyvanse 50 mg daily and began Intuniv 1mg three weeks ago and has titrated up to 3 mg. When first using Atralin, my skin became very dry and began to peal. A moisturizer is needed when using this product. After a couple of weeks the dryness of my skin decreased, but the sensitivity remained. For Atralin to work properly, one must keep a regular schedule of application of this product. It is a product that makes things worse before it gets better.
