after 3 surgeries due to a ruptured disc which didn't work, including the installation of neurostimulator, I had been put on about evry possible pain med. I disliked the side effects of Oxycontin,Vicodin and Percocet and thought I was screwed but after moving and going to a new Dr. who put me on Opana ER I was finally able to find relief and cut down on the number of pills I had to take avery day as well as eliminating the Tylenol which is bad for your liver. Oxycodone HCl is far and away the best drug available in the UK for chronic pain. The problem is the blatant lie on box and PIL that the duration of action is 12 hours. In my experience I begin to feel pain at around six and am in agony again by 6.5-7 hours after taking. My doctor refuses point blank to issue me recue medications which I have to obtain through other services than the NHS. This drug is absolutely wonderful for improving COPD symptoms but I have had to stop using it due to the severity of the side effects: anxiety, depression, insomnia.

I am not convinced that the Remicade was the cause of my getting the mersa infectious cyst inside my Larynx and there is no proof that it is connected in why I suddenly had Liver Cancer. Both have been treated and (kidney removed) and I would really like to go back on the Remicade, but my doctors say NO. My latest issue is now Pancreatitis (I have been off of the Remicade for 1 year and 3 months. So I don't think it relates to it either.
