I had nausea and vomiting the first 2 months of taking it, but they completely went away after that. Other pills caused bleeding between my periods, but I had no spotting at all with Microgestin.

I will never know what happened to me. But, for years I complained about anxiety and nervousness. But, my Endocrinologist have dismissed my symptoms. Finally, after nine years and learnign about Armour Thyroid, my depression and fatigue are pretty much gone. The anxiety has gotten better. But, I truly believe Synthroid helped to harm my central nervous system somehow.

my legs swelled and went heavy. I wasn't sleeping and not urinating freqently enough. my mother is 86 and has taken them for a long time with no side effects. my husband has just been prescribed them although he is not over weight and walks every day to work and around his work place his colestrol is 7.5. we have been healthy eating for a few years now so this has come as a bit of shock to him. It is really good if you suffer panic attacks or depression and insomnia but I have only been married for one year and my husband is ready to leave me as my labido is non existant and we used to be very energetic in that department so id say for me anyway this is the downside to taking it
