after 3 A1c tests that were getting worse and taking more and more Lantus, I quit it totally because when I upped the dose my blood pressure went up as well. I had pain in both hands having gained 15 pounds as well. After one week of quitting, my weight went down 8 pounds and I no longer have pain in my hands. I will never take that stuff again. I was given darvocet for my back pain and it didnt do much to relieve the pain that I was having. It made me very tired and not very motivated to do anything.

I was taking Darvocet as a substitute for Vicodin because I was having too much Delirium and Nausea with Vicodin. I have a high tolerance to pain killers and when I was taking Darvocet it had no noticeable effect on the pain. I eventually stopped taking the pills because the small amount of pain relief I received was not worth the nausea and delirium I was getting from the drug.

I really like Cymbalta. I feel like it helps balance me, so that I don't respond based on my emotions I feel at that time, but rather I respond based on careful and clear thoughts. I still feel the emotions, but can control them so that they don't over-rule my rationality.
