I have been on this for 4 weeks and I do feel a bit better finally, I am smiling and that has got to be good. I expected it to be faster and more dramatic. Have had no severe side effects however I was nauseous and had dizzy spells to start with but they have pasted . Have started to feel breathless this week and teeth clenching - not sure if that is the pristiq or just me. As i am feeling better in myself i plan on starting to exercise and see if that helps too

I have been taking Avonex for about 15 years. I credit Avonex for my ability to keep walking and to continue living a fairly normal life, with a family and a 20-hour job. I think I would be in a wheelchair if I never took Avonex. This was a very expensive drug that did absolutely nothing for me. It didn't prevent an oncoming migraine when taken at onset, nor did it dull the pain once the migraine was full blown. I didn't experience any side effects, but it did nothing for the pain.

Debbie, no-one knows yet how long Gardasil will last or whether you'll need a booster shot. Because targeting only a few strains could also encourage a replacement disease, Merck might also need to re-formulate the shot periodically. The scary thing is that the first users won't know if and when they're vulnerable again, which makes me wonder what the point is.
