I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. Petroleum jelly is a great treatment for dry skin and other skin rashes. It is gentle, inexpensive, and effective. I have never had problems with it. However, more severe skin dryness and rashes may need other treatments.
