My name is Kylie, I am 19. I had my first Gardasil shot at age 16 on 4/5/07 and have been sick ever since. To start, this is the most painful shot I've ever experienced. I immediately felt nauseous and nearly passed out while walking to the bathroom to vomit. I used Zicam a lot whenever I started to feel sick, and I think it worked (it can be hard to tell because the cold was only developing, but it never got any worse). Unfortunately, I used the Zicam Q-tips as well and lost some of my sense of smell. Now I do not enjoy food as much because I cannot taste it.

It worked well at first but I am having a rebound effect of heartburn now. I need to see thdoctor. I have read recently that keeping your stomach acid down can contribute to other bacteria building up in the stomach.

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour.
