its a strange and unpredictable drug with dire side affects i have to say. i have epilepsy and when i first started it, it made me worse not better. eventually it helped to reduce absences but ten years later and now iv been suffering from a massive increase in tonic-clonic siezures and things like temporary paralysis! that was until i stopped taking it. then i went back to normal. it was deffinately poison for me, even after stabilizing me for ten years, suddenly it just went bad. iv ended... I have been taking enbrel since Apr. 15th of this year and find that I am feeling so much better. My immune system seems to be better than before where my hands would swell up, my feet would also swell and had a hard time walking any distance without a walker. I am more active but can't sleep much during the night. I have also gained weight. My psoriasis is gone from my scalp and arms and legs but still suffer some back pain from the rheumatoid arthritis. My joints also feel so much better.

I have been taking lasix for over seventeen years. It is a diarhetic because it pulls teh potassium out of my body. So I need additional potassium to balance it out. It makes me photosensitive from the sun, so I have to wear long sleves to protect myself.
