I started taking Finacea for my acne together with spironolactone, so it is difficult to tell which effects are from which medication. However, I do not think that the Finacea has improved my skin significantly. This medication is fairly expensive. With good insurance it is $50/tube, but without insurance I believe it costs over $200/tube. I will likely discontinue my Finacea use soon.

The first few nights that I applied Erycette, also known as Ery 2% Pads, my skin started feeling smoother and less oily. When I woke up in the morning, my skin was scaling and this is considered "normal." But one night I woke up in the middle of the night with my face bright red, and a slight rash. I experienced paranoia, horrible panic attacks, a sense of dread and nightmares, Never experienced anything like this. I thought I was losing my mind. This began around the 4th day on the meds and lasted for several months. I was worried I would never be myself again! I don't recommend this to anyone!
