I've been on it only 4 days and i'm having major memory problems. I cant remember where things are, who people are what I need to do. I cant focus, concentrate or accomplish anything. It's very scary, like i'm looking at me from the outside. Its causing a lot of anxiety and panic. I'm only on 25 mg.

I have bacteria in my stomach and was prescribed prevpac. I have had just about every imaginable side effect or reaction including constant headache, diarrhea, nausea, awful metallic taste in mouth, small rash that did go away within 2 days, mild itching, yeast infection, muscle cramps and pains, and awful dizziness. Started out with 50mg 2x daily for a week, with no improvement. 2nd week took 75mg 2x daily with some good improvement in numbness/tingling. Third wee took 100mg 2xdaily and was so dizzy, could not walk in straight line. Had to hold on to the wall to walk. Only took 3 doses and had to stop. Went back to 50mg till I can get off it. Ataivan works better but does cause some drowziness.

I have chronic muscular pain and excedrin relieves my pain and makes it feel better enough for me to undergo my daily activities, i have never experienced any bad effects from this medication.

Side effects only lasted for the first week or so since then it's like I'm not even taking anything except for the fact I don't have panic attacks anymore. I consider Lexapro a wonder drug and wish I had started on it earlier.
