I take iron supplements for my anemia. It helps with the curious bruising I used to get because of the iron deficiency. I don't bruise as easily anymore so I think it's been working.

I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive... I always mix turmeric powder in milk when I have fever to give me energy and soothe my nerves. It always helps me feel better. It doesn't bring down the fever, just helps me feel better.

About a year ago, I was told by my doctor to take it as a trial, because side effects of the tablet may reduce warts. After 2 weeks of taking it, there was no change to the primary condition, as I only experienced the side effects of serve stomach cramps, along with headaches. Since there was no change, my doctor said I can stop taking the medicine. Within a day the pains were gone.
