This drug helped my stomach issues although I suffered from major side effects. I reported the side effects to my dr at least 3 times last year and she never mentioned it could be this drug. Of course, I read the precautions on my prescriptions but my side effects were listed as very rare. It just didn't occur to me that it could be my stomach medicine.

About a year ago, I was told by my doctor to take it as a trial, because side effects of the tablet may reduce warts. After 2 weeks of taking it, there was no change to the primary condition, as I only experienced the side effects of serve stomach cramps, along with headaches. Since there was no change, my doctor said I can stop taking the medicine. Within a day the pains were gone. My worst experience with Ibuprofen has been the development of the upper gastric pain. I think I may have developed an ulcer because I've been using it for so long for my migraine headaches. I also think I've developed other stomace/digestive problems as a result of taking it for so long.

prilosec otc worked fairly well for me. i'm not having stomach pains & heartburn as i was before. the only things i really noticed are i take the pill in the morning everyday. by the time it is the next morning, i feel the pain again until i take the pill. i'm hoping after the 14 day treatment that this does not occur because i will not be able to take the pills anymore. it is my 7th day on the pill & i've expierienced a piercing, stabbing headache in the back of my head & behind...
