My mother was prescribed Actonel by a visiting locum within 48 hours she experienced a tingling sensation all over her body, followed by horrific pain in all her joints which has continued for another 3 weeks and is ongoing. She is also experiencing night sweats, often having to change her pyjamas twice during the night. She is 72, has diabetes and hypertension. After 2 years it seemed like the Plaquenil was no longer working. My Rheumatologist switched me to Azathioprine but I had an allergic reaction to it. I am now back on Plaquenil and it seems to be working again along with Prednisone.

Hi. Just want to share my experience. I took Candex as indicated for about 2 weeks. I experienced pretty severe diarrhea the entire time. I work at home. I would not have been able to do this if I was not able to be flexible with my time. It got to a point where I had to stop anyway because of the frequency and severity.
