i wish that the manufacturer would give some indication of the length of time we can expect to experience side efects so that in stopping the medication ,we werent throwing the baby out with the bathwater.we all accept that all meds have side effects, but the severity and duration of them is difficult to assessfor someone new to the drug thanks for a very useful and informative source of information

Since stopping the medication Ive had horrendous side effects which have meant I've spent the last 3 days in bed and I'm still no better. I'm wondering how long these side effects will last. I stopped meds on Monday and have woken up I'll again today. I have sever hot and cold sweats, headache, muscle ache, nausea, general feeling of being unwell like I'm coming down with flu. Will I feel like this for much longer? It's debilitating.

Tylenol is not the best for quick enough to relieve pain. it is however good in slowing down the pain. for example, it works well on relieving y headache, menstrual pain, and occasionally the cold. the cold doesn't stop but its not as severe. i don't necessarily depend on it, but once in a while it helps me get a little bit better than i was.

My migraines usually last 24-36 hours. Naratriptan wears off after about 12-18 hours, so I often have to take another dose. The information sheet does not discuss this possibility, only what to do if ineffective. Some of apparent side effects are/may be a symptom of the migraine itself, i.e. dizziness, drowsiness, headache, eye pressure, concentration problems.

To everyone on NSAIDs...please be careful! My brother was prescribed naproxin (which is just prescription strength Aleve) for shoulder pain. The Dr kept refilling the prescription for 9 months which resulted in kidney damage. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil, Motrin, Aleve can be dangerous if taken improperly or long term. They aren't "safe" just because you can buy them without a prescription. I had taken Topamax before and it had worked great for me for about four years, then I supposed I became immune to it. I was put on Lyrica and it made me feel horrible and I was constantly getting hurt. I am now back on Topmax and hopefully soon the Lyrica will be out of my system.
