I have been taking lasix for over seventeen years. It is a diarhetic because it pulls teh potassium out of my body. So I need additional potassium to balance it out. It makes me photosensitive from the sun, so I have to wear long sleves to protect myself.

Even at the highest recommended dose, it doesn't work a full 24 hours. It does cause extreme drowsiness about 30 minutes to an hour after taking, so I take mine at bedtime. It is also quite expensive if you don't have insurance.

like percocet but low dosage doesnt seem to work. for severe pain only feels like taking ibprofen

I was prescribed Etizolam ,5 mg for my CBT sessions of Agoraphobia. As of now, the therapist and I are only working on the lower range of anxiety inducing situations (I was asked to rate anxiety situations). The medicine has helped in the sense I am able to face these situations and some of the physical symptoms (legs shaking etc) have disappeared. I have diabetes, treated with oral and insulin. Also treated for high trigycerides, high cholesterol, and bp. Carving for sugar has increased, gained 10# and all readings have jumped up remarkably since starting this medication. At first it helped the pain in my hands and generalized/overall aching pain. i was on yaz before and ortho-tricyclen lo before that. ortho mad em gain a bunch of weight and i had really bad depression and anxiety. I went on Yaz and did'nt have many side effects except a drop in sex drive. However after two years i started getting abnormal periods - where i would bleed for a month at a time and got anemic.
