Proactiv was good, but it stopped working after a while. I have to go off of it for a few months and go back on. Proactiv turned my face a bit darker when I first started using it, but my skin went back to normal within two weeks. I noticed Proactiv also bleaches my dark colored towels.

At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. I am having problems with swelling, rash, dizziness and left hip pain. I can't walk for more than 5-10 minutes before it feels like something is trying to rip my hip joint apart.. This pain didn't start until I had been on Benicar for about a week. ( I had tried another BP med and had swelling in both legs to the point of not being able to walk)

Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight.
