I had 2 shots of depo to help with my severe PMS. Whilst I was on it, I didn't notice a huge difference but when I decided to stop taking it, I never had a period for 11 months. I put some weight on whilst having the shots but put on even more weight after coming off it, gaining 2 stone in total. The first 2 months were hell. It felt like every thought had to be pulled through a vat of mollasses to be had. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours in a row, couldn't remember the simplest figures and had to drop 2 classes at school. Plan B is not 100% effective but if taken withing 24hrs can really make a difference. It gave me a peace of mind and helped prevent an unwanted pregnancy. However, I did get some menstrual changes and headaches as a results. My stress level was lowered.
