This drug makes me sleepy, drowsy and tired, right after I take it. And I usually take it after breakfast. I was taking one tablet before, and I went to the doctor to told him about the side effects of the drug. He advised me to rest for about 10-15 minutes after breakfast. I tried it, and I felt better somehow. He also reduced the posology to 1/2 tablet, and he told me to go and look online for more information about the drug . If you are taking Adderall XR it is important that you are meeting with an MD to best understand how it works. Also know, that Adderall XR is not a cure for adult ADD. It's important to read books and learn as much as you can. I know for me, I need to put my keys in the same place every time. I know when I study I need to eliminate as many distractions as possible. There are things that I do regardless of taking medication to put myself in a position to be successful. It takes work.

I only used it once and I had a terrible experience with it, even though for all intent and purposes it did work. The night I took it, I woke up in sweats and I starting vomiting pretty badly. I was also dizzy and I could barely stand. I was up all night, but the next day I was fine.
