I take advil whenever I have a pain that isn't too intense. I've taken it for earaches and it lasts all day but doesn't completely take all the all the pain away unless I take two. This still is the pain killer I take most.

Helped with swelling around my joints, however caused severe stomach pain after I had been taking it for a few months. I had to quit taking the medication and take another to repair my stomach lining.

Advil liquid gels are helpful sometimes when I take it. i take it for cramps but i have mild drowsiness and dizziness sometimes. Also, sometimes after I take it, I lose my appetite or my digestion changes. Overall it is slightly helpful when it comes to cramps or pain relief.

I switched from Diovan to Micardis five years ago and started having "eye disturbances" (I know now they are optical migraines) so my doctor changed my dosage to 40mg in the morning and 40 mg in the evening and this worked great for several years but in the past year I have had more of the disturbances usually when I break the pill and it's not equal but I have also noticed my vision (previously 20/20) getting worse and worse. I have not had any problems with it. I have not had any tests done to tell me how it is working, however, I am hoping that when I have my next bone density test, the density will have improved.

I would tell someone to take it because it makes me feel better. After I eat, I take the Prilosec OTC, and my reflux is well controlled. Even when I eat food that causes more reflux, my reflux is controlled with the Prilosec OTC.
