There are so many different kinds of medications out there. You aren't just going to immediately find the right one for you. It's all about trial and error. Trust me, it's an agrivating process and I've wanted to give up many times (I started trying different meds about 7 months ago) I have confedence that I will find one right for me. Vyvanse is the best medication I have tried for ADD. I have some insomnia, which I could deal with and which may go away over time. I have taken the drug for 9 days now. My major problem is urgency to urinate, frequent urination and no relief. This awful feeling I will not be able to abide. I have submitted a sample to check for a UTI, but I probably don't have one. I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Also, when I broke my foot and had tendonitis I was given prescription 800mg ibuprofen and it was the best thing for the pain and inflammation. I would rather take Ibuprofen then any o... I took one dose of this medicine, got flushed, hot and very lightheaded. Next thing I knew I was on my way to the emergency room via ambulance. The drug made me pass out. I got 16 stiches, a broken nose and 4 staples in my head from my fall. I would not recommend this medicine. Even the emergency room doctor said that this is all to common with this medicine

Many people don't realize this, but Acetaminophen is a good fever reducer. Taken at the same dose as you would for pain relief, it can help reduce mild fevers. I used tylenol when I had the flu and it helped with the aches and pains as well as keeping my temperature under control.
