I was hospitalized after my pulse went through the roof when I took Zomig. It was attributed to an allergic reaction, so unfortunately this triptan is no long available to me (I still take Maxalt and Imitrex). However, my dad takes Zomig regularly and does quite well with it when he combines it with a painkiller.

I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one.... Asthma after many years has become manageable and barely even there, but with the occasional upper respiratory infection, it takes something extra to knock it out. Advair does that, but I wish it came in some other form.
