Lipitor, and perhaps all fat-soluble statins, will go down as the next falidamide. This drug readily crosses the blood brain barrier and wreaks havoc on cognition/memory/mood. As an added bonus, it is now becoming apparent that Lipitor is especially effective at causing systemic mitochondria DNA mutations (See, e.g., UCSD Study - Dr. Golomb). It was not practical for intercourse and would remove it becuase it would be uncomfortable. It caused irritation.

Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. Started takin Aleve for knee pain. Developed abdominal pain and couldn't tell if it was bladder or gas. Did not put 2+2 together that it may have been a side effect from the aleve at first. That's how I wound up on this site. Stopped taking it and the abdominal pain went away.

Oracea has worked for me. While not completely gone, my rosacea is markedly improved. However, I have concluded that Oracea is probably also the source of my severe joint pain, muscle soreness and fatigue.
