At this time, I think it is the worst drug I've ever used. I've just had my blood drawn and was found to be overmedicated, which has very serious side effects. I do not feel that my doctor was very concerned and he did not even see me for this. I was seen by the lab and his nurse only for lab tests and vitals. I left the office. Results for my thyroid panel were called to me the same afternoon. I was told to not take any more Levoxyl until Monday (this is Friday) and then take a half tablet.... View full comment

I feel like it is really drying my eyes out. I continue to drink plenty of water but I have to take it every 2 hours for the first two days and then every 4 hours for 4 days after that.

Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors. Let me make this short and clear: I was extremely happy on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Lutera has screwed me over in so many ways. For starters, I have never had a serious acne problem in my life and just three days ago my boyfriend came over and called me pizza face. This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around. Developed anxiety/depression. Cry over silly things which is also effecting my personal life and my relationship with my boyfriend. I've become extra on edge and easily annoyed.
