HORRIBLE MEDICATION !!!! Cough all of the time, itch and don't get much sleep. Also gained 30 pounds. Would not reccomend this at all. I quit today. Enough is enough, hope it gets out of my system quick. Blood pressure has not dropped very much either.

I took Candex for three days, one capsule in the morning with a very large glass of water. I am very sensitive to all kinds of medicine, so I was prepared for the worst. The only thing that seems related in time to the Candex doses was the veins in my hands and fingers dilating (getting really big), making my hands ache and my fingers and palms itch. I was sick of taking Benadryl Allergy because it made me really drowsy and I was really tired the next morning. I started using Visine-A to avoid the drowsiness, but it didn't really do anything for the itching. Visine is good for getting rid of the redness though.

vI have been on Lyrica for Neuropathy for the past 5 and 1/2 years. It worked about 70-75% of the time for the first few years but now it works less than 40% of the time. My biggest problems with the Lyrica is the side effects-you name them I have them; weight gain (30-40 pounds), chills, night sweats, insomnia, depression, fatique, lack of motivation, memory loss, confusion, sleepiness, abdominal pain, GI bleeding, nose bleeds.
