The pill was effective as a contraceptive, but I did not have a good experience with the side effects of the medication despite this being a "low dose" bcp. However, that being said, everyone has a different experience with different medications especially with the bcp because of people's different reactions to the hormones. I experienced headaches, fatigue, moodiness, and a considerable increase in breast size.

The first few days I took Trileptal I felt "drunk" but that vanished within the first week. Cognitive side effects such as severely not being able to remember words and short term memory loss were severe the first few months, but tapered off so that after the first 6 months I wasn't and am still not sure if it's the Trileptal or getting older (45) that's causing the now mild effects.

I changed to Lyrica because I heard it was very effective for pain management & it is, but the side effects of weight gain & blurred vision are not worth it to me. I am planning to talk to my Doctor about switching. There are other side effects I could live with, but I'm not taking anything that makes me more hungry. I have enough problems in that area already.

I've never had a problem with achieving an erection, but over the last two years or so the stiffness factor has suffered some, especially towards the end of the job. With a 50 mg Viagra, I get a blue steel throbber. Cat couldn't scratch it! My wife LOVES it. Not many side affects, slight headache sometimes. MUST take on an empty stomach, though. Alcohol in moderation (2-3 drinks) doesn't seem to have an affect. I'm sold. Should have started taking Viagra a few years ago.

I've been taking Mucinex DM for 3 days now and it has been working great. I'm suffering from either a sever sinus infection or bronchitis. The Mucinex has really improved my cough and the congestion feels almost non existent. I can tell when the 12 hours is up because all my cold symptoms begin to come back. I do experience the side effect of feeling "spacey" or a sense of euphoria. Most cold medicines make me feel drowsy, so this is new to me.
