I have stopped and started three times, to be sure it was the Lipofen causing me the problems and got the same results every time. This being a non statin my doctor thought it might work on me because all Crestor and other statin type drugs have made me very ill. Don't know where to go from here; wish I knew why both statins and this make me so sick, and if there is another route to take.

I would strongly discourage women with anxiety and/or depression from taking this pill. I've suffered from anxiety and depression for years, which is kept in check by medication, however by week three of my first pack of this pill, I experienced depression so severe that I did nothing but sleep and cry for a week. A lot of my symptoms could be related to me stopping smoking and not to NicoDerm CQ. My chest hurts but not a caving in feeling, rather a bruised feeling. As the day progresses I feel less anxious. I smoked 13 ciggerettes per day and still think that Step 1 is giving me too much nicotine.
