My wife took Prednisone for treating a rare skin disease. She started having severe side effects like chest pain, restlessness, increased heartbeat, feeling mental madness, high irritability. Afte 2 days of taking it she had to be taken to emergency for recovering from side effects.

I started taking Nuvigil because of a serious sleep disorder. The first couple of days on it, I broke out in a rash on my neck and face and developed bad headaches. I also clench my teeth all day everyday. I have sinus problems as well and I am gaining weight. Its been about 45 days now and I am still having those issues but I do not have the rash. It worked very well. I was having bad ear aches and congestion. I started taking it after my doctor told me to try it. I had tried many different medications before it and it was the only one that made me feel better. The only problem I have with it is that it is very harsh on the stomach. It gave me really strong stomach aches and cramps.

I switched from Arimidex to Aromasin because of extreme joint pain. During the first three years on Aromasin, I suffered from hot flashes and insomnia. The last two years the hot flashes are only occasional and the insomnia is a little better. I get tired easily, but considering the benefits against breast cancer, I can put up with it. I was originally prescribed lortab for fibromyalgia pain. I was prescribed Lortab 10, 4 times a day but quickly began abusing it. It seemed that the longer I took it, the more I had to take to obtain the same pain relief. I abused Lortab for 1 year and as a result became physically and physchologically addicted and finally sought help at a drug rehab treatment facility. This drug is effective for acute pain but I would not recommend for patients with long term chronic pain.
