My 23 year old daughter had her first gardasil shot in March 2009. Within 12 hours she suffered left sided weakness, resperitory distress and a severe muscle type seizure and was in the hospital. She still is suffering from severe muscle spasms, cognitive impairment and needs to take Klonopin on a daily basis. I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment

I take iron supplements for my anemia. It helps with the curious bruising I used to get because of the iron deficiency. I don't bruise as easily anymore so I think it's been working.
