I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) around 3-4 years ago, and since then have tried various dosages of Strattera, Adderall, and Vyvanse. This was, by far the most terrifying drug I have ever taken. At first I was overjoyed by the results. I will never deny this: Singulair was, hands-down, the best drug I ever took for the seasonal sinus infections that I thought were brought on by allergies. A lot of random side effects that one taking prednisone should look into. Weight gain and an increase in appetite is a major one. My weight really fluxuate while on prednisone and due to severe asthma I can not regullarly excercise to keep the weight off.

It is a great supplement to help regulate my heartbeat and make my blood pressure better but it has an aweful taste and texture if you get the liquid form and if you take the pill form you can barely stomach to swallow it because they are so big.

This medication also helps me breathe when I get an asthma attack but it takes a little bit longer than the albuterol and I do not get any side effects with xopenex like the fast heartbeat and tremors, so regarding side effects its better but it takes longer than the other medication.

During the first week I took half a dose and experienced a pretty strong distaste to all foods. Even when I was hungry, the sight and smell of food made me feel sick. This went away during the second week. My only other side effect is that I don't sleep as much as I used to. Also, it tends to wear off suddenly between doses.
