Obviously I need to take it so i do...but dealing with the side effects is hard. When I first starting taking Carbimazole it took a long time for it to start working.

I have been taking Lybrel for just over a year. I noticed my eyebrows thinning and initially thought it was due to a bad wax job. However, they have continued to thin dramatically. I needed to take it for a colonoscopy I was having done. It tastes horrible even in my favorite Gatorade drink. But the most important thing is that it worked. I was completely clean for the colonoscopy.

I can't take estrogen based pills, so this seemed like a good option. For the most part it's been ok, but I've gained about 10 lbs and haven't been able to make it budge! I work out religiously and eat only around 1200 calories a day, and the weight keeps creeping on! I stopped taking my pills for about a week, and 5 lbs have already melted away!
