I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. I am glad I found this site also. I took candex before bed and woke up with an allergic reaction. I only get this way if I eat something I am allergic too, which I am positive I didn't so it has to be the candex. My eyes, lips, and hands are extremely swollen and I can feel my lungs are swollen. My chest really hurts and it's hard to breath.
