Doctor perscribed it for Strep. Literally almost had to crawl to the doctors office because I had gotten so sick and run down. He gave me Levaquin and by the second day of taking it I felt 100% better and was almost back to normal! Just a little residual coucghing the next few days- but definitely it knocked it out and FAST!

Isotretinoin is a nightmare, if you are thinking of taking it DONT! 3 years after go off the drug my bones still creak every time i climb a step, my liver is still recovering and more recently I have been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. After using Tinactin spray for 3 days on my foot to treat a mild case of athletes foot (minor peeling between baby toe and the toe beside it only) i developed a bumpy, itchy rash on the skin of my foot that had come into contact with the spray powder. This medication did not help, and has only served to irritate my skin where it was applied. It's true that the taste is awful, and the bit of numbing is weird! But I have never slept better, and I wake up without any drug effects. I fall asleep about 20 minutes after I take it, so I plan accordingly. I find that it's less "yucky" if I place it under my tongue in such a way that I can make a tight "seal" over it with the rest of my tongue. Benzoyl peroxide is key to clearing up acne and blemishes. It really helps kill the bacteria that causes pimples in a relatively short amount of time. However, using it too much in high concentration can cause dryness and peeling and maybe some irritation. It's best to use it with a moisturizer.
