Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

I have been taking this medication for about 10 years and I like the results. I had kidney stones for about 4 to 5 episodes in the last 30 years and ever since i was on the Allopurinol I haven't had any kidney stones and I have really enjoyed that !!!

Went to the doctor with an infected leg . I was treated .cleaned the area of infection on the leg and had some antibiotic cream applied. Three days later the leg wound was still infected with bacteria. The doctor prescribed 500mg of Cravit for the leg infection , i was also suffering from an allergy that had started on the same day as i cut my leg and was very apparent from day one when i went to the surgery to have the leg wound treated .The leg infection started to get better after bei... Tums helps alleviate minor stomach problems. However it does not help for anything which causes a lot of pain. It helps with minor annoyances. Yes it does help some pain go away, but it isnt pain that is unbearable, it is just as easy to wait out the pain.
