I switched from Arimidex to Aromasin because of extreme joint pain. During the first three years on Aromasin, I suffered from hot flashes and insomnia. The last two years the hot flashes are only occasional and the insomnia is a little better. I get tired easily, but considering the benefits against breast cancer, I can put up with it. Changing to this synthetic analogue, described to me as "the greatest thing for Type 1 diabetics" by my diabetic team was a decision I now deeply regret. I have been using Nuvaring for about 6 years now. I recently have started to have blurred vision, severe vertigo, fatigue, rashes and much more. I feel that my symptoms have worsened over the last 6 years but I have just now realized that this was the problem.
