I was put on ativan 3 times per day starting in january for panic attacks that I was having. The problem with ativan is that if you are having a panic attack it takes a while for the medicine to kick in and stop it. I also was having some side effects with it such as tremors and nightmares. My doctor switched me to xanax and I liked it a lot better. It stopped my panic attacks within 10 minutes of taking the medicine vs the hour it took to stop them when I was taking the adivan. 15mg for 1 week extreme sleeping pills make you like a mong in the morning after week 1 i increased to 30 mg less drowsiness still require loads of sleep appitite increased which is not good for me. i would say these pills just mong you out and make you not care rather than improving your mood but im only in week 3 i shall persivere.
