My daughter is 15 and had her first shot 3 weeks ago and has had sever pain in her right leg.The pain starts at the joints and than shout up and now it is going up her right side lower back. She has had all kinds of test and can not fine any thing but the shot was givin on that side . How long dose the pain last? Know one has said how long the side effacts last and will it keep going up to her arm. Please help.

I have been using nuvaring over 4 months now. Have experienced no problems. I feel that a lot of complaints from other users is from incorrect use and from unhealthy individuals trying to use a hormonal method. I think that if you are healthy (not overweight, excercise regularly, etc.) before use than you will have less side effects. I am taking the folic acid and b6 with b12 combo because i can't take a regular pre-natal. I am also going to start a liquid "vitamin" drink called Vemme.

Not sure if Seasonique is the cause but I never had health problems like this until my 4th month on it. I developed a severe case of perioral dermetitus. Doctor has had me on antibiotics now for 2 months for that. Also that 4th month I started spotting daily. I quit Seasonique at the last week of my 6th month on it.
