my legs swelled and went heavy. I wasn't sleeping and not urinating freqently enough. my mother is 86 and has taken them for a long time with no side effects. my husband has just been prescribed them although he is not over weight and walks every day to work and around his work place his colestrol is 7.5. we have been healthy eating for a few years now so this has come as a bit of shock to him. I've noticed that I have become more moody and tired since starting Yaz and I expected the opposite. Also I've never had acne but do now. And I got brown spots on my face.

Darvocet N 100 was prescribed to me when I broke my foot this summer. I took it as directed but it is a controlled medication and made me very sleepy and I would just fall asleep whenever I took it (so it was good to take at night) But honestly what helped the most with my pain was the Ibuprofen 800 which is an antiinflammatory. Sublingual is a terrible idea for this medicine. It tasted terrible and made my tongue numb. 15 minutes after taking it I became completely drugged out (in a stupor) and had to be taken to bed immediately. Slept 12 hours straight in a deep sleep, but snored heavily and gasped for air all night long. That was my first and last time taking this medicine.

Becoming an on set Adult Diabetic Type 1 was enough shock, including adding shots with medication to a person that would rarely take children's Tylenol was a life change. Lantus gives me the ability to maintain a healthy lifestyle by changing my diet eating plenty of vegetables and having time to learn the lifestyle of a diabetic.
