M/W/A 57yrs 6'+ 235lbs, was put on Simcor Sept 2010, due for first CBC since medication started next week. My triglycerides were through the roof, 500+, LDL was only 179, but HDL was in the basement, so DR put me on 1000-20 Simcor. He warned me of the "flushing" as he put it, and wanted me to take it at bedtime to limit this side effect. It helps some, but not enough to take when there are other drugs to help with allergies. The side effects are irritating and the benefits are not enough to keep take the drug.

I have noticed that my lungs hurt when I make any sudden physical movements like getting off the couch and walking in the other room. My lungs hurt just like I was outside sucking down cold air but I am inside where it is warm. The hurting lasts for a few minutes and scares the crap out of me. When I quit the Celebrex the hurting goes away.
