My wife took Prednisone for treating a rare skin disease. She started having severe side effects like chest pain, restlessness, increased heartbeat, feeling mental madness, high irritability. Afte 2 days of taking it she had to be taken to emergency for recovering from side effects.

My blood pressure is back to normal. So that is great. But I'm experiencing many side effects I don't like and I may not be able to continue to tolerate - like really bad heartburn, loss of appetite, insomnia, swelling in extremities, painful joints, and others. I don't wanna die from high blood pressure.... but i feel lousy in a way I never felt before. So, I may need to try to a different med.

I spent most of my life trying to hide or avoid my problems with agoraphobia and panic attacks. I've tried everything from psych to behavior modification to many other drugs. While I am not panic attack free taking this med has reduced the frequence and severity of attacks. At the same time I still have feelings of sadness, joy, etc. Many of the other drugs tried just turned me into an emotional zombie; not the way I want to go through life.
