Darvocet N 100 was prescribed to me when I broke my foot this summer. I took it as directed but it is a controlled medication and made me very sleepy and I would just fall asleep whenever I took it (so it was good to take at night) But honestly what helped the most with my pain was the Ibuprofen 800 which is an antiinflammatory. My doctor told me to take 2 pills a day but he told my daughter-in-law to take 5 a day so i don't know what the deal is with that...

I have been on 150mg's for around 8weeks.My sleep did improve greatly,so I felt much better due to this. My depression did improve alot,and I felt able to cope.The side effects that were trouble -some were severe constipation,and very dry,sore throat & mouth mostly during the night/day. I have come off them now because my sleep /depression are starting to get sadly worse.
