While one of Gleevec's side affects is diarreha (mine was really severe) I found that by taking 1000mg of vitamin D every other day almost completely stopped it. I didn't find that out until after losing 35 lbs. but if it helps someone else, great. Puffy eyes for 7 years now have made my eyes so beat up looking. Haven't found anything that really helped that. I started taking it almost daily for about two weeks when my knee was bothering me. It worked so well that it became habit because I am on my feet all day at work. Midrin was wonderful, but I grew out of it. According to my doctor, it really only works for kids and teens. It didn't always help with the full blown migraine, but it did wonders if taken at onset. I did experience a lot of nausea, but as long as I took the medication with food (hard to do with a migraine), it wasn't so bad.
