I take Zyrtec daily for indoor and outdoor allergies and it relieves all of my symptoms. I started taking it when Clarinex stopped being covered by my insurance, although I do not think Zyrtec is quite as effective as Clarinex it is cheaper and it does not cause any negative side effects.

I have been coughing frequently and violently for approximately 10 years now. I used Flovent for several years and it has not stopped my cough at all. IAt my insestence I was recently given samples of Advair 250mcg from my pulmonologist. He did not believe it would stop my coughing. This drug was horrible for me. I have never felt sicker than when I was on it. The withdrawals were worse than opiate withdrawal. I was totally ill for two weeks-I couldn't stand or sit up without throwing up. I had "brain zaps," couldn't eat or sleep.

I had a surgery for a hammertoe correction and they gave me a lidocaine shot before starting to numb me and it did nothing to numb the pain. They increased the dose and it still didnt work. I have also used lidocaine patches in the past for my back and have not felt any relief from them.

My thyroid shut down 15 years ago, but after treatment with Levoxyl it started working again and has TSH, free T3, T4 levels have fluctuated ever since (though that was not recognized as normal 15 years ago). It supplies needed thyroid hormone, but does not address autoimmune problem that started it.

Besides being ineffective, I am sufering from severe "brain zaps" while still taking the medication. I am also suffering from debilitating fatigue. This drug is not worth it and I'm afraid to come off of it due to the terrible withdrawals.
