Prior to taking Lunesta my sleep pattern was irregular and unhealthy. I'd sleep three hours and was tired constantly. I am a typically hyper person and so I always desperately wanted to sleep but often was unable to. Once I began Lunesta I couldn't believe how much better everything went. after reading several difffernt sites about the side effects of femcon, i think i have an explanation for my extreme nausea, sudden blurred vison, joint pain, ridiculous weight gain and digestion problems. however, i just saw my obgyn last week, told her of these issues and no connection (except the weight) was made to femcon. also, i am a runner and since starting on the femcon i have had an acute problem with joint pain and fatigue durring my runs, thus causing me to run at a slower pace... After taking Lunesta several days, I noticed slight memory loss- had to be reminded of something I had previously said, could not remember if I had done something or not. I then started breaking the tablets, taking half the dosage to see if there would be a change, but did not continue long enough to notice a difference- somewhat relunctant to continue the medication.

I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. The convulsions lasted for hours on the day of the eye exam and returned sporadically the next day. I took this medication a while back because I had a very upset stomach and the taste was horrible, I almost threw up and it made my stomach feel worse. So since then I havent taken this medication.
