When I first started taking the medication it gave my significant headaches, dizziness and a stomach ache, but after one week the side effects stopped. I am so glad for this medication because it has stopped my coranary artery from spasming and the chest pain is finally gone. I used to have chest pain, in varying strengths, all day long, and now I am chest pain free.

Since using Agomelatine, I have experienced extreme nausea, headaches, stomach aches, hair loss and loose bowels, I am not sure whether to continue with this medication, I was told that there would hardly any if no side effects, but I have found this not to be true in my case.

Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. My psychiatrist had no idea what the drug was, or at least I think so. She started m... View full comment

I developed Menier's in my early sixties. It took a while to control so that my specialist put me on increasing amounts of Betahistine. At six to eight a day it was mostly controlled although I had break- out episodes that put me in hospital overnight. I was also prescribed medication to control fluid , in my head, I guess. These included indapamide and potassium. Buccanase or semitol was there for when I did have an episode. Now 6 years on, I can control the condition as long as I stick... View full comment
